COMMUNITY TERMS OF PARTICIPATION AND USE OF MATERIALS
Last updated: April 2026
1. ABOUT THESE TERMS
Welcome to the MiniMe Mindfulness® by Mindset Mentors Limited community. We're so pleased you're here.
These Terms set out how you can be part of our community and how you can use the materials we share with you — whether that's our online courses, guided meditations, Calm Kits, lesson resources, free content, social media, or live community sessions.
They also set out how we protect the work, methodology and characters that make MiniMe Mindfulness®, Boss Your Morning® and Mindset Mentors Limited what it is - so we can keep sharing them with families, schools, practitioners and communities who need them.
By signing up to our community, accessing our materials, or using our courses, you agree to these Terms. Please take a moment to read them. If you don't agree to them, please don't sign up — and please get in touch if you have any questions.
These Terms are between you and Mindset Mentors Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 10312675]) with a registered office at Barrack House, Barrack Square, Chelmsford ("we", "us", "our").
2. WHO CAN JOIN OUR COMMUNITY
Our community is open to:
•Parents, carers and family members supporting children in their lives;
•Teachers, school staff and early years educators;
•Practitioners working with children professionally (therapists, coaches, wellbeing leads, support workers, and similar);
•Schools, nurseries and educational settings; and
•Anyone over 18 with a genuine interest in supporting children's and/or their own mindset and wellbeing
If you are under 18, please ask a parent, guardian, or your school to sign up on your behalf. We do not knowingly create accounts directly with children.
3. YOUR ACCOUNT AND ACCESS
3.1 When you sign up, you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information. Please keep your account details up to date.
3.2 Your account is personal to you. Please do not share your login details with anyone else, and please do not let anyone else access our paid materials using your account.
3.3 If you believe your account has been accessed by someone else without your permission, please tell us straight away.
4. OUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
This is the most important part of these Terms — please read it carefully.
4.1 Everything we share with you — our courses, content, guided meditations, lesson plans, scripts, videos, audio recordings, Calm Kits, illustrations, characters (including Oscar and Annie), branding (including MiniMe Mindfulness®, Boss Your Morning®, Mentoring 4 Kids by Kids™, Mini Me Time™), the methodology behind our work, and the structured progression of skills we teach (courage, confidence, inner calm, resilience) — is the intellectual property of Mindset Mentors Limited. We have spent years developing this work and we take its protection seriously.
4.2 When you join our community or buy access to our courses or materials, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use what we share with you, only for the purposes set out in clause 5 below, and only for as long as your access remains active.
4.3 We do not sell or transfer ownership of any of our materials. We license you to use them. If your access ends (because you cancel, or because we end it for breach of these Terms, or for any other reason), the licence ends and you must stop using the materials.
5. WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH OUR MATERIALS
Subject to the restrictions in clause 6, you may use our materials in the following ways:
If you are a parent, carer or family member:
•Use the materials with your own children and within your own family or household.
•Play guided meditations and audio content for your children.
•Print downloadable resources for your own family's use.
If you are a teacher or school staff member:
•Use the materials with the specific class or pupils in your direct care, in your registered school or early years setting.
•Print and display resources within your own classroom or setting.
•Reference and discuss what you've learned with colleagues, parents and the children's families in your setting.
If you are a practitioner or professional:
•Use the materials for your own personal learning and reflection.
•Apply the principles you've learned within your professional practice with the children you directly support, but only to the extent allowed by your specific access tier (see clause 7).
In all cases, you may share short, accurate, properly-credited references to our work on your own social media (for example, posting about a meditation that helped your child, with attribution to MiniMe Mindfulness and/or Mindset Mentors). We love seeing this.
6. WHAT YOU CANNOT DO WITH OUR MATERIALS
You agree that you will not, without our prior written permission:
•Copy, reproduce, redistribute, share, upload, publish, sell, sub-licence, rent, lend, or otherwise make our materials available to anyone outside the personal or professional use described in clause 5;
•Use our materials in any commercial setting (including paid courses, paid workshops, or paid services) other than the personal/professional use described in clause 5;
•Teach, deliver, run sessions based on, or train others in our methodology, framework, or curriculum (this is reserved for our licensed practitioner pathway and our Mindset Mentor franchise — see clause 7);
•Create derivative works, adaptations, translations, or modifications based on our materials, methodology or characters;
•Publicly perform, broadcast, livestream, or record our materials;
•Remove or alter any copyright notices, branding, watermarks, or attributions;
•Use our materials to train, inform, or develop any artificial intelligence model, machine learning system, or automated content generation tool;
•Use our materials, methodology, or characters (including Oscar and Annie) to develop, market, or promote any competing product, service, course, programme, or business;
•Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the underlying methodology or framework for use outside the licensed purposes; or
•Use our materials in any way that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or that brings MiniMe Mindfulness or Mindset Mentors into disrepute.
Breach of this clause may result in immediate termination of your access, removal of any infringing materials, and legal action to recover losses and prevent further misuse.
7. IF YOU WANT TO TEACH OR DELIVER OUR METHODOLOGY PROFESSIONALLY
We're delighted when teachers and practitioners want to bring our work into their professional setting. There is a clear pathway for this.
•Within your own classroom, school or registered setting, the licence in clause 5 covers what you need.
•If you wish to deliver our methodology in your own commercial work — running your own classes, workshops, or services based on Mentoring 4 Kids by Kids™ or our other frameworks — you need a separate licensed agreement with us. Please get in touch about our Mindset Mentor In-person delivery, online courses and programmes, licences and Mindset Mentor Partner pathway.
•If you wish to become a Mindset Mentors franchisee and operate a regional MiniMe Mindfulness® business, please get in touch about our Franchise opportunity.
Using our methodology commercially without a licensed agreement is a breach of these Terms and of our intellectual property rights, and we will enforce them.
8. COMMUNITY STANDARDS
8.1 Our community spaces (online groups, comments, live sessions, forums) are places of warmth, kindness, encouragement and respect. By participating, you agree to:
•Treat everyone — including children, parents, teachers, practitioners and our team — with kindness and respect;
•Keep contributions constructive and supportive;
•Respect everyone's privacy and not share other members' personal information or contributions outside the community;
•Not promote your own commercial products, services, or affiliations without our prior agreement; and
•Not post content that is offensive, discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate.
8.2 We may remove content, restrict access, or end your participation if these standards are not met. Where children are involved in any community space, our safeguarding policy applies and we will always act first to protect any child.
9. SAFEGUARDING AND CHILD PROTECTION
9.1 Children's safety and wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. If you have any safeguarding concern relating to a child arising from our community or materials, please contact us immediately at [email protected].
9.2 If you are using our materials with children in any setting, you remain responsible for the safeguarding, supervision, consent, and wellbeing of those children in line with your own organisation's policies and applicable law.
9.3 We do not collect or process personal data of children directly through our community signup process. Where children appear in our content (including our named characters Oscar and Annie), full parental consent and appropriate safeguards are in place.
10. PRIVACY AND YOUR DATA
How we collect, use and protect your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By signing up, you confirm you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
If you have given us consent to send you marketing communications, you can withdraw that consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contacting us at [email protected].
11. PAID COURSES AND PROGRAMMES
11.1 Where you have purchased access to a paid course, programme, or product, the specific terms of that purchase (including price, delivery, refund policy, and length of access) will be set out at the point of purchase and apply in addition to these Terms
11.2 Refunds will be handled in accordance with the refund policy applicable to the specific course or product, and your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
12. ENDING YOUR ACCESS
12.1 You can leave our community at any time by closing your account or contacting us at [email protected].
12.2 We may end your access (with or without notice, depending on the circumstances) if you breach these Terms, infringe our intellectual property, behave in a way that's harmful to the community, or for any other reasonable cause. Where we end paid access for breach, no refund will be due for the unused portion.
12.3 The intellectual property obligations in clauses 4, 5, 6 and 7 continue to apply after your access ends, in respect of any of our materials you have received or accessed.
13. LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMERS
13.1 Our content is intended to support children's and adult’s emotional wellbeing and is educational in nature. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. If you have concerns about a child’s or your own mental health, please consult a qualified professional
13.2 We work hard to make our materials accurate, useful and safe, but we cannot guarantee any specific outcome from their use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special losses, and we limit our total liability for any direct loss to the amount you have paid us for the relevant course or product in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
13.3 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will tell you by email or by posting a notice in the community. The date at the top of these Terms shows when they were last updated. Continued use of the community after changes are notified means you accept the updated Terms.
15. GENERAL
15.1 Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales (or your local courts if you are a consumer outside England and Wales, where required by applicable law).
15.2 Entire Agreement. These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy and any course-specific terms) form the whole agreement between you and us about your use of our community and materials.
15.3 Severability. If any part of these Terms is held to be invalid, the rest will continue to apply.
15.4 Contact. If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at [email protected].
Thank you for being part of our community. We're glad you're here.
