WHAT are they?

Affirmations are simple, positive, power statements that we say about ourselves. These words affect our mind, behaviour, the way we think about ourselves and the things around us.

WHY are they important?

The way we talk to ourselves (self-talk) is so important. We want to programme our minds so that we believe we can BE, DO and HAVE whatever it is that we choose. Our brain believes what we are saying, so we will start to act in a way that matches what we say. This builds our internal superpowers.

Our brains are like computers which are programmed with the words we say and the words we listen to from others. We are in control of what we say to ourselves so we need to pick our affirmations carefully.
